Headquarters Office in Beaverton: SEEKING SAFETY-TRAUMA and HEALTHY COPING GROUP, Thursdays, August 25-Sept 29, 6:30-8 p.m. Jeremy Horn. Seeking Safety is a present-focused group therapy to help people attain safety from trauma and unhealthy coping mechanisms. Unhealthy coping skills include, but are not limited to, substance abuse, self-harm, eating habits, and other behaviors that have unhealthy side effects. This program was developed for the treatment of PTSD and substance abuse, but is flexible in its application, to be inclusive to meet a broad range of needs for people seeking safety from current circumstances. Headquarters Office in Beaverton BIBLE TEACHER TRAINING: September 17, 2016 9:00am – 1:00pm Bettie. All ages are welcome, and new people are encouraged to attend this highly interactive class. GSM’s call is teaching the Bible in such a way that it inspires a radical, intimate relationship with the living God. The goal of this class is to train others to teach the Bible in a passionate and interactive manner. Bring a friend! Meets every other month, on the 3rd Saturday.
