Giving Tuesday is a tradition that began in 2012 and gained steam to become a global generosity movement that combines the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world at large.
also known as Queen Esther, a 101-year-old Good Samaritan who has dedicated her life to serving others. She's currently in hospice and soon to receive her crown in heaven. GSM proudly honors selfless individuals like her who inspire us to give back to the community. Esther is a true embodiment of a Good Samaritan, and we're excited to celebrate her legacy of kindness and compassion.

As a 501c3 non-profit headquartered in Beaverton, OR. Good Samaritan Ministries operates in more than 26 countries & 200 centers globally and has been providing the gift of healing to individuals and communities for more than 47 years.

All services are covered by loving donations and volunteerism. No-one is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to donate for services. Rather, we teach those who receive healing through GSM to, “go and do likewise.”
Each year, our Beaverton office alone serves 5,000+ clients, and hundreds of local and international students who have found healing through GSM are enrolled in training programs to become GSM Certified Counselors so they can go on to make a difference not only in their immediate families, but also in their surrounding communities and throughout the world.
