Bill is passionate about the community by showing up as a servant of Christ. He is particularly interested in mental health solutions for the downtrodden. He has been married for 25 years to his wife, Heather, who serves as a counselor for GSM. She also has her own counseling practice. They have been blessed with three children, who are now teenagers. All three attend Westside Christian High School.
Bill grew up as an Air Force Brat until his father retired from active duty in 1975, settling in Yakima, Washington, where Bill attended high school and met his wife Heather. He left Yakima to attend the University of Washington where he studied Speech Communication. He then attended University of San Diego Law School graduating with a Juris Doctor Degree in 1990. His interests evolved from practicing law to human development and alternative dispute resolution. He acted as a mediator for the Chicago Court System, and pursued various roles in management consulting and human development for various clients in the Chicago area, including Andersen Consulting and Baxter Healthcare. His love of human development and learning led to a position as Human Resources Manager for Intel in Oregon. He left Intel to pursue independent management consulting opportunities in 2013. He has served with the GSM Shoe Drive and Backyard Mission volunteer nights involving teens and parents, as well as with Westside Christian School.
