Meet Ben June 19, 2012
Meet great people by becoming involved at Good Samaritan Ministries. All of our locations offer counseling and teaching provided by incredible counselors and teachers. If you’ve come to the Beaverton Headquarters, have you met Ben?
Recently, GSM Counselor Ben Lessley received the “Al Stiefel Award” from George Fox University Graduate Department of Counseling. The award recognizes four admirable qualities: 1) excellent service to the entire university and community, 2) a consistent demonstration of the Spirit of Christ; 3) a high sense of integrity and 4) genuine zeal for inquiry.
Ben Lessley completed his counseling internship at GSM while attending George Fox University to earn a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating April 28, 2012. Ben plans to continue meeting with clients at GSM as a Registered Intern, working toward becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. “Ben views his clients through God’s eyes of mercy and love,” said Pat Thompson, Prof. Counseling Supervisor at GSM-Beaverton. “ Ben’s passionate care and God-given creativity and talent assist clients to trust and to find healing and wholeness to reach their potential.”
