Update: Thank You! We Did It!! — Need Help Preparing 15,000 NEW pairs of Shoes For Shipment To The Philippines This Friday November 18, 2013

UPDATE: With your help we accomplished a great feast! We were told that they had never seen volunteers move that fast and accomplish so much in such a short time. You are awesome!  We will have another challenge soon so stay tuned.

Our Shoe Recycling Partner, Global Footwear has a container in partnership with OIA.  Our shipment will directly go into the hardest hit areas.  Yes it’s last minute, as this just came together a few days ago.

Every day this week, your assistance is needed at the OIA Global Logistics warehouse off of Marine drive  between 7AM -3PM.  We need help preparing this shipment by pulling and organizing new shoes for bulk shipment next week.

Many people are wondering how they can help the thousands and thousands of people affected by one of the largest tropical storms in history that swept through the Philippines.  You can make a financial donation as well, but hands and feet are needed right away.  Our goal is to have this done by Friday, and we need your help to accomplish this huge feat.

After several hours on the job, we have learned gloves are a good idea.

So bring your gloves, your smile, and your generous heart and let’s get 15,000 pairs of new shoes headed to those in dire need.
